seed bee on 25th
The next Seed Bee for the Seed Exchange at Seedy Saturday will be on Sunday, January 25, from 1 to 3pm at Kathryn Landry’s house. Directions at the end of this message. If you have any seeds to donate, this is the time to bring them to a Seed Bee and package them. This might be the last one we hold before Seedy Saturday in March. You can exchange the number of packets of your own seeds for other seeds in the Exchange. It is a good time to start thinking about what you want to grow this year.
Please make sure your seeds are cleaned and of course dry and clearly labelled with the name of the plant and variety, and your own name, and part of the Valley the seeds were grown. Any other information is also helpful, such as comments on the growth habit (eg. vine, needing support, plant at certain time, etc.)
Email Vivien Adams to register as space is limited. If you have never attended a Seed Bee, you are more than welcome. You will discover how much fun it is, and enjoy working together with other gardeners, and talking about gardening. Even if you have no seeds, you are still welcome.
