Roderick Lane: Developing Farmland: A lesson in patience – Rotary B – Saturday – 12:30 -1:30 pm

Bio: Roderick Lane is a farmer, traveller, and mountain ambler who lives on Forbidden Fruit Farm in the foothills of the Comox Valley, where he grows apples, nuts, and a variety of perennial herbs.

Roderick has spent eight years transforming marginal third growth forest into a blossoming young orchard. His Forbidden Fruit Orchard is a part of a diversified farm that also grows and supplies the plants needed for his plant-based fertilizer line.
